We kicked off this sewer inspection at a 2002-built home in Scottsdale, starting with two cleanouts on the west side. The ABS piping looks solid—durable stuff that’s held up well over the years.

As we followed the camera through the lines, we spotted a normal water line from typical use, a little debris here and there, and even a couple of root intrusions near the septic tank. Nothing major yet, but a good reminder that regular maintenance (like hydrojetting) keeps things flowing smoothly.
Along the way, we also caught sight of some possible woodpecker damage on the roof—always something new! A full roof check is a smart next step. Overall, a helpful peek underground with a few small items to keep on the radar.
I didn’t realize the damage on the roof was caused by the carpenter bees we found during the sewer scope. Thankfully a local roofer filled me in on the potential and the stars aligned!
